I woke up at 4am this morning, after falling asleep at about 1am, and decided to get up and do something instead of half-heartedly bumming about in bed.

So I did get up! I played around on RO for a bit and then actually spent about twenty minutes on the eliptical and treadmill. I showered up and prepared both my lunch and my breakfast AND coffee~~ hurrah hurrah!

And it looks like some fascinating business is going down on Parliament Hill! I'm happy because it's exciting, but I'm cautious as to whether or not this is necessarily in my best interests. I'm happy to see the possiblity for the Conservative party to go stage-left, but it also leaves Alberta, my province, very poorly represented as it's very much a right-leaning place.

At any rate, at least Canadian politics are becoming interesting again. (I mean the Bloc is going to sign in accordance with the coalition for the next 18 months. How zany is that?!?!) Hopefully this will all be for the best though~ s( *W *)/

Ok, so first off, I want to thank everybody for the birthday wishes. I'm one of those strange people who like to try to hide my birthdate, but some of you still manage to wish me happy birthday. I actually think I got the most wishes this year (thanks in part to my workplace - I tried once to remove my birthdate from the company calendar, but failed). Thank you much!

I can now rent a car without paying jacked up prices! Yay! The next age milestone I have to look forward to is 59 1/2, when I can start putting pulling (what an embarassing typo) out what remains of my Roth IRA without paying taxes (ooooh). Yay, life.

Now, onto a more serious topic. One of my friends (*COUGH JENNIFER COUGH*) recently went to England for Thanksgiving break. While at Stonehenge, guess who she ran into?

RACHEL MCADAMS. RACHEL. FRIGGIN. MCADAMS.

And you know what infuriates me?! She didn't even TRY to hook me up with her!

How hard would it have been to be like, "Oh, Rachel, I love your work! Can I get a picture with you? Great, thanks! By the way, I know this AWESOME guy - you'd make the cutest couple! Can I pass him your contact information? You should totally marry him."

HOW HARD?! HOW HARD, DO I ASK?????

P.S. I thought Jennifer was pulling my leg until she provided picture proof - dag it!

Just got back from Big Sur - the final drive down was a whopping 12 hours (forgot everybody was driving back this weekend) - I hit traffic in every conceivable place... trying to leave Big Sur, all alone the 101, then all around LA, then around SD as well.

Anyways, I think I'll be largely disappointed with the photos I took once I load them all on my computer - I was mostly active midday (which means the sun was way too bright and washed out any good photos). (I may also break my own rule of doing some post-production work in Photoshop with these photos)

Well it's that time of year again.  I put up the outside lights, only to find one string had a bulb out. It is hard to figure which one is burned out so you have to remove each one and start again.  I gave up but Chiko ended up cutting out a section and rewiring it so it works now.  Then she did the inside decorations.  I never touch them.  For one I have no taste and for the other I'm too lazy.  But she enjoys it.  So here we go into the holiday season with a bang.  Hope it is a good one for all of us.  I'll share some scenes of our decorations and tree here.

The almight BIG BANG is my current obsession!! Thanks Christine, you really pandai to influence me into all these. Ok so I have been listening to the same songs of Big Bang everyday, on repeat. Nope, not bored yet, in fact, UPLIFTING! And you know what's the best thing about them? There's this hot dude which Jinn and I just CAN'T stop talking about. You'll see.

It's been too long since I last got obsessed with an artist. What more a Korean artist?! So far I've only been a fan of SHINee, but Big Bang's something new for me. SHINee's probably almost a replica of them since their music genre is somewhat R&B and rap. Just that Big Bang has a "cooler" image compared to SHINee, and they're a little older. The current 하루 하루 (Day by Day) and 거짓말 (Lies) are my favourite so far.

DAMN RIGHT, IT'S THE AWESOME RAPPER T.O.P/Tempo/Choi Seong-Hyun!!! *Melts on the spot* Tell me he's hot Because he really is. So lovin' his smexeh eyes. Not to mention that he's like the manliest one among the rest - low-toned voice which makes it even hotter, the tallest, just basically THE HOTTEST? He also beatboxes, dances and speaks fluent English as stated by Christine. I can't take it anymore, he's so damn perfect.

Oh and would you like to know how he looks like when he was a kid?

A fat dude. LOL quite unbelievable though the eyes and brows still resemble. BUT STILL, HAHA!

Jinn and I spent the whole night watching Big Bang's videos on youtube, JUST to see T.O.P :X Sorry la, it's been too long since I got obsessed with some group/artist/whatever so please bear with me :| The feeling is just so great!

I can't wait to just hand in this stupid paper, I really don't care anymore. I'm just so sick and tired of it consuming every waking and cognitive moment of my life. I would like to just submit it, as horrid as it is, and go back to cramming like a regular student. Give me textbooks and orthodox studying techniques! Enough of this romance and reading that's taking away my life. I WANT THIS DONE AND OVER WITH!!!

I succeeded in helping to cook a Thanksgiving dinner! It wasn't as hard as I imagined - just really time consuming. I now feel confident I can fly solo next year and do the whole meal myself
