As you can see from my previous entry, the weather in Geneva is c*ap! Yay! I don't have to suffer the heat!

I must say, I liked the two week vacation spent at home doing no much. It felt like a very, very long one.

Two weeks ago precisely, I went to pick up this little devil. It took me a couple days to find him a name. I wanted something unusual... I think I managed. I will ignore any criticism.

French cars' plates can be really funny. I think this one was taken during my last trip to Belgium. Do you think they realize? I think not.

Last Saturday, I organized this day out with some friends. We were supposed to be 10 of us but two cancelled at the last minute for health reasons.We went to Signal de Bougy where we had a nice picnic on the (wet) grass. Shini and Felicia joined us later as they forgot to set the alarm clock. We waited for them to go to the 'Parc Aventure'. And that was the whole point of the day!

We managed to do 3 different tracks in 3h. The middle one was really tough! I think I owe it all my muscle aches. I was a bit scared at some point, mainly because of my bad knees. I skipped two difficult spots and though I was going to fall on one terrible one. The difference between the green and the red tracks was huge! Maybe there was supposed to be another color in the middle and we missed it. I don't know... Well, it was great! Just as good as I remembered it from last year.

After the exercise, we all went to my place for a fondue. Yes, a fondue in the middle of summer... Who cares! It was delicious! After that, we watched a DVD. Evenings tend to end up the same each time I have someone over... I should maybe hide my DVDs when I have someone over. :|

Anyway! I had a great day!

I had a very nice surprise this morning when I switch my laptop on. A key was missing!

Originally, it was the letter M missing... M for 'mischief'... This bloody cat! I could recover the key, replace it with another one but then what ? I have a hole on my keyboard? Damnit! What was I going to do with this broken plastic thingy? Call the tech center?

Yup, I did... And they direct me to someone else who send me to somewhere else who... Well, you get it. So, unless you are willing to send your entire laptop to God-knows-where, there's no way I was going to get that bloody piece of plastic. I even called Marseille in France! So, tonight, after spending a fair amount of my time on the phone, I had only two options... Leave it as is... Or try to fix it.

I took the second option. MacGyver style! I looks like crap now, but I have the key back.

Oh well... :| I guess I'm good to go find a new keyboard... Hmpf! Bloody cat!
