There's are some days when you feel very stupid... Well, it seems to happen a lot to me lately. And boy, I hate that! Someone find me a cure!
...
Maybe I should just have a vacation. :|

| Finally~
|
I might get a cat. My mom knows a guys who's son have a cat that had kittens. So tomorrow evening, we'll pay them a visit and... We'll see.
I wanted a cat for a long time but never got the opportunity to get one. So... I think the food I bought two years ago is now good to be thrown away.
Let's see what life brings.

The Royaume is still on... Or so I think. This year, no one knows what the other do. Or maybe no one tells me anything and they all work together behind my back. Whatever.
I've been worried for quite some time about this event... I have the feeling the quality of the weekend will be below what we offered the first time. But no one seems to care. And no one seems to think communication between us is that useful.
After a few verbal fights and a couple frontal attacks, I got it. I am now totally detached. My part is done so far. And since there's nothing I can do, or they would let met do... Then fine.
I miss the good team spirit we had during the preparation of the first edition. Nostalgia, nostalgia...

Workwise, nothing good. I used to mainly have to deal with Asia and factories in Europe but now, the US want to take over a part of the European business. I am now forced to deal with them more and more and frankly... It's a pain in the ass.
It takes them 3 working days to reply to an email - if they do - when we had an answer the very same day from Asia - or the next day (very handy when we are waiting for them to be the link between us and an Italian factory 500 km away). They show us no respect, like if Europe was some kind of Third World country and if we weren't able to cope these past years. They talk bad to us on conf call, complain to our boss if we reply the same way. And most of the people there are like totally new to the business ever new season coming!
And it's not about exception... All of our US contacts are like that! The only few that are smart and efficient don't work in direct contact with us, or don't stay long. This is highly depressing.
I used to like my job... Not so much lately. Maybe it's time for a change.

| Geneva Live Cam~
|
I posted this link in a forum 3 years ago and while going through the archives, I was surprise to see it still existed. A friend posed in front of the cam back then... It was fun.
So... Today, I'm sharing a view of Geneva with you guys. Enjoy!
Maybe you'll see me passing by someday. n_n'

So... There! Since I've been crying so much for it and since Roy has decided to seriously work on it, I think it's about time I dive into the new control panel and try to help - although I'm quite sure there's some more skilled person to do so out there.
Anyway! I'm quite excited about this... I hope Roy keeps on the good work!

| I Love My Country~
|
I live in an area in Geneva that doesn't have the best reputation. One of my colleagues didn't even want to visit a flat there when she was looking for a new one a month back. She was almost referring to it as the second worse ghetto of the canton. A couple years ago, another colleague asked me if I was happy living here when she came to my place for the first time.
Hmmm... OK, the place is old (built in the 70s), the buildings are not really good looking but we have the tallest tour of Switzerland and the longest building of Europe (or so I was told). I live in the big tour and we have a swimming pool on the roof. Ha! Take that! Plus, we have a small shopping center with anything one would need: grocery stores, hairdresser, liquor store, dry cleaner, bakery, restaurants, etc. And we even have a church, a school, a community center... And a McDonald nearby (that's just to point out how civilized we are... junk food!).
This morning, I was getting to my car located in the lower floor of our underground parking lot when I found my jacket hanging on a nearby garage door. I lost it last night and didn't even notice. A quite expensive Polo Jeans Co. jacket... Talk about an unsafe area. I shiver! I lived in "safer" (reputation wise) places in France where the jacket would have been gone!
Well, as long as people think my area is a very bad one, the rent will not go crazily higher like in the rest of the canton. Fine by me. If you look for me, I'll be at the swimming pool for the next two weeks...
