| Andilly Medieval Weekends: Over~ |

It's been a fun couple weekends. Four days of medieval immersion... I loved it! 5/26 - I went with Talisker and we got the 4 day pass as it was cheaper than a 2 day fee. Since we had a pass for 4 days, why not enjoying it till the end. I was afraid to be disappointed but Les Médiévales d'Andilly have been running for 10 years now, so they're not amateurs. The weather was great in the morning but quickly turned to rain in the afternoon. We had our plastic ponchos, so we bravely stayed until 7 pm. Then we gave up on the nigh show and went home. But we had a blast and were ready for the second day. 5/27 - Even more prepared for the rain, we were back in the Petit Pays for another days of wandering, shows, shopping, eating and drinking. Felicia and Shinigami joined us that day. My brother was supposed to join too but he was afraid of the rain. He was only to come once so he wanted a good weather to take pictures. Anyway... We ate the entire day! We even tried the green beer. Weird taste but too biter for me. No rain until then evening but we were brave - again - and faced the rain to attend the night show. And despite the rain, we had our final firework! Weeee! \o/ After the first weekend, I decided to make myself a costume for the next one. Between Tuesday evening and Friday evening, I manage to come up with a pretty decent medieval dress. I was quite happy with it.  Sorry, my face was ugly. n_n' 6/2 - Talisker came to my place with her one-day-work dress while I was doing the last adjustments to mine. A colleague of mine was supposed to join us, but she was sick the entire night so she had to cancel. In our nice costumes, off we went to Andilly. The weather this time was great, despite the early morning rain. The soil was all muddy, it quickly added an 'authentic' touch to our dresses and feet. Haha. We completed our costume with some new items and ate like crazy again. And I developed some kind of addiction to the apple juice and violet syrup. 6/3 - I didn't think I would go back again on the 4th day since Talisker wasn't able to make this time, but that's the day my brother chose to go there. So I put on the costume and went back to the Petit Pays. Great weather again! Food, drinks, shopping... I'm broke! My brother bought himself a chainmail. This thing must weight at least 16 kg! And seeing I could sew pretty decently, he wants me to sew a costume for him too. Well... Why not. n_n Now, I got sunburns on my shoulders. So serious that the pharmacist gave me a burn medication. :| It's really painful. But it was soooo worth it! Felicia got really interested in the medieval events and she proposed we go to this big gathering somewhere on the German border next weekend. Unfortunately, I can't.  I have other obligations. But we are planning to go to the one in Gruyères on the 16th. Maybe pictures to come.

| Coloring Exercise~ |
I had some free time Friday evening so I participated in some friendly coloring contest. Dunno what it's worth. Coloring isn't my favorite thing ever, I don't to it that often.

| That Feeling~ |

We will soon have the Town Hall Meeting in my company and for the event, our department will make small movies to explain what we are doing exactly. Unlike last year, not all of us will have a chance to participate. My manager asked my help... as a script writer. So I got to arrange what she wrote and that's about it. I won't be part of the rest of the excitement while other colleagues will be having fun acting. It kind of reminds me my school years, when I was the last to be picked.  Life will be life.

| When Everything Goes Wrong~ |

These days, I have this feeling that nothing is right in my life. I can do nothing right, I can say nothing right, I feel empty and useless. Even my relation with people tend to go wrong, I don't always know why. So I try to limit interaction with people but that makes me feel lonely. I have this fear of rejection and I've been rejected a lot lately... When I feel unwanted and no one dares to say it honestly, that makes me go wrong, say the wrong things. When I feel useless, unecessary, I feel rejected. I think I'm going mental.

| Today, I've Learned...~ |
... to do chainmail. :| My brother wants gloves covered with chainmail so he digged the Internet to find out how to do it and bought the tools and everything. When I arrived, he was getting started. He and his girlfriend had a hard time with it. As for me... I did pretty well. n_n It's fun to learn new stuff... Not that it will be really useful in my life but... Hmm.
