| Some People Have Nerves~
|
Sorry, work related again.
I helped to change prices in the system for one of my colleague's categories once and since it was on Friday evening and I already had been working extra time to finish this for him, I didn't do the checking and told him when he was back on Monday to check all of his prices to see if everything was OK.
Obviously, he had received the new price chart at least a week before his vacation and he didn't update the prices and my manager found out by chance so she asked me to check and update if necessary. Since it was indeed necessary to update almost ALL prices, it took me quite some time and since I wanted to finish everything for him, I stayed late (it was 6:45 when I left).
Yesterday, someone from finance came to see my manager because of some major price issue with this very category. My manager then asked me to be more precise when updating prices - I had made a couple mistakes which would have been spotted in time if only this dude had done his checking. So, I reminded my manager that I did ask him to check and she replied saying I should know he wouldn't do it properly... Is it my problem? The dude only has one single category to do and he can't do it right! He's also in charge of the wholesale and retail pricing input and even this, he can't do without mistakes. He once stayed really late because he had done some serious mistake and the market was starting the next day. C'mon!
So, obviously, my manager had a talk with him when I was away and when I came back, he started to accuse me. He even told me he had given me the chart to update before he left (hu, what?) and that if I was doing something, I should do it properly and do the checking (WTF?).
Followed a nasty argument between my manager and him where my manager told him I wouldn't help them no more to what he replied I wasn't of much help anyway. o_O' I never new he had anything that serious against me. Jeez! Kindergarten, here we go again.
I was so pissed yesterday when I went to the swimming pool, I did the 1 km with no problem. And I was ready to drawn any person on my way.

| Royaume : Test Game 2 Coming Up~
|
This Saturday will be held the second test game for the Royaume weekend. As a make up of the original scenario, our scenarist came up with this Middle-Age kinda story. So for the sake of our Club, our beloved President and our first huge OP, I will be the country-woman.

Pretty, hu?
Alright, you're allowed to laugh and make fun. I'm sure you will not be the last ones. There will also be a priest and a wizard walking around. Maybe more pictures to come.

| Too Much~
|
I feel I have no free time these days. I always have something to do... The other day, I finally managed to open my Outlook and I had 255 unread emails. Needless to say I spent at least an hour to delete half of it, read the rest and reply to a few. *phew*
I'm looking forward to October. I will have a huge problem out of my head. We all waiting for the Royaume to be over, at last. It's a huge thing to organize and it's highly stressful on the long run. Thinking we are responsible for the happiness of a hundred people for a whole weekend... Scary. There's even people coming from the other side of France, 9h ride away...
Anyway... The test game went extremely well last weekend. It was hot and sunny, the people were cool as usual. I didn't find pictures yet but I know some people had a camera. Hmm.
People really enjoyed the scenario, the organisation and all. We only had great feedback and constructive criticism. Great! We rule!

| August Visitors~
|
After seeing sp00kslane entry with her August country breakdown, it reminded me I meant to do the same myself. Only it's already Sept-7 and I forgot about it. Thanks girl for reminding me.
So here it is, the Pouick's August country breakdown!
I'm really impressed by the large number of visitors this month compared to last month.

| Hosting = Over~
|
My hosting service has come to an end. Finally, I should say. My brother, a friend and I were trapped in a 3 year contract with no possibility of negotiation. Needless to say the price we were paying was o_O and it stayed this way the whole time when the rest of the Internet hosting cost went down and down and down.
Anyway, I'm now free to find something on my own. My brother is recommending Infomaniak which is a Swiss company. Woohoo! National hosting service! So... Beginning of a new adventure.

| Misunderstanding~
|
Internet relationships with people are somehow really frustrating. I just had one of these frustrating moments tonight.
In one of my communities, this guy proposed a game. He proposed a questionnaire and all the replies are supposed to be somewhere in our sector. I tried to find as many replies as possible but the thing was evil!
When the guy reminded us we had only 1h30 left to give him our questionnaires filled, I just had sent it few minutes ago. I told him he had a perverted mind* (which means something totally different in French) and his reaction was somehow really cold and distant. I tried to sort things out in private and his reply really surprised me:
"I am honest, I have a girlfriend I love so don't call me a bloody pervert especially not in public."*
I was puzzled. In French, the word "pervers" has different meanings. The first one in the dictionary is "tend to do evil things".* So I tried to explain that to the guy and all I get is a simple "thanks", no more. So at the end, I have no idea if I managed to clear things up or not. I then told him to forget about it and that I would not intend any humour with him in the future.
I still haven't heard from him since. People are weird.

| A Little Taste Of Switzerland~
|
Always wanted to know what view I had from my window? Here is your chance! Grab it!
Warning : I will not be held responsible for any decision you make to leave your country and come to mine. Know that Switzerland only welcomes people with an extremely large amount of money who are willing to make a deposit in one of our many banks. If you're rich enough, we will even turn on the water jet for you. You will be required to know the recipe of the fondue and how to serve a good raclette. Chocolate will be your new favorite snack. You will learn to appreciate yodel and cow fights.

The view in summer & autumn.
See the mountains on the back.

The gorgeous winter view.

| Guess What I Got In The Mail Today~
|
I'm highly impressed. This t-shirt got to Switzerland really fast! I wasn't expecting it so fast. Anyway... I use to check my mail in the morning when going to work and I couldn't help but show the t-shirt around all day at work. Geek alert!
Nobody would understand. *sigh*

Tired Pouick. But cool t-shirt, hu?
Thank you Roy! Not only for the t-shirt but for the entire Tabulas. ♥

| Engrish Is Fun~
|
Who doesn't know the soooooo famous Engrish.com?
Well, I thought I'd share to those who don't know it. Just because I was watching this Japanese TV show called Good Luck! and the hero is a co-pilot on a commercial line. He had to make an announcment to the cabin and of course, he also had to do it in English. The "I hope you will have a nice flighting" really made me grin.
It reminded me of this one time in Japan when the guy on the front desk explained us that the "breakfast will be served in your behind".
I love Japanese people!

| Freezing & Co.~
|
I'm here, sitting at home and I'm freezing. It's September and I'm freezing! The weather is really weird on planet Earth. Unfortunately for me, the radiators won't be switched on before mi-October. Too bad.
Meanwhile, I can cuddle in a warm blanket and put mittens on to type on the keyboard.
